Why they make a great hostess gift

A hostess gift that is still on the table next Thanksgiving.

Fresh flowers look their best for about a week, and by then the leftovers are gone too. Our dried and preserved flowers are real flowers made to keep their color and shape for a year or more, so the bouquet you bring in November is still there when everyone comes back next year.

01

They outlast the leftovers.

The dishes get washed and the guests go home, but the flowers stay right where they are. Indoors and out of direct sun, they keep their color for a year or more.

02

They are easy on a busy host.

There is no vase to find in the middle of dinner and no water to spill on the tablecloth. The host can set them down and get back to the kitchen.

03

They travel well.

They need no water on the way, so they ride to dinner in the car. We also ship anywhere in the US, for the family you will not see this year.

04

They are kind to allergies.

They are pollen-free, which makes them a safe pick for a table full of guests.

How to style dried flowers for Thanksgiving

Here are three easy places to start, and every one of them carries on into the holidays.

On the table

Run a few low vases of hydrangeas and eucalyptus down the middle of the table, then tuck in orange stems for color. It sits low enough to talk over, and it never needs water.

On the door

A dried wreath brings the season to an inside door or the wall above the sideboard. Hung indoors and out of direct sun, it keeps its color for a year or more.

On the sideboard

A tall bouquet in a simple vase gives the buffet some height. Add a few red stems in December and it carries on through Christmas.
